Third installment of Facebook Hacker Cup is ready. Registrations are open for the much more anticipated challenging event.

The competition began in 2011 as a means to identify top engineering talent for potential employment at Facebook. The competition consists of a set of algorithmic problems which must be solved in a fixed amount of time. Competitors may use any programming language and development environment to obtain their solutions.” –

Finished Power Searching with Google, September edition last week. Honestly I didn’t know about power searching at first edition. Fortunately came to know about the course just before second edition. Course was good, immediately impacted my search skills. Actually passed a exam e-learning exam at last minute with my search skills. :-p

F5 – New Certification Program

F5 Networks Logo Today F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), a L4-7 Network appliances manufacturer, today relaunched its certification site this time with Integral7 – Pearson. From July 15, 2012 Thomson Prometric no longer deliver F5 Certifications.

F5 has changed its certification portfolio, completely dumping its old certifications. Certified engineers of old curricula will have to re-certify from scratch. F5 says this is because new Program incorporates a new philosophy and exam process that verifies fundamental and prerequisite knowledge as well as knowledge about F5 products. Firepass is going to be integrated into Big-IP and ARX exam will continue to exist until 2015.
